Bhakta Clinic & Nursing Home

Inspired by the drive from my heart to serve the people in my town and the surrounding villages with my humble knowledge and skill in pediatrics, I planned to set up a treatment center attached to my office practice where I could serve my little patients day & night in my own way with tender love and care. Ultimately my dream came true in the year 1997. Bhakta Clinic and Nursing Home was established in the newly constructed premises owned by me at Rangibasan, Mahishadal, Purba Medinipur. Initially it was a six bed nursing home for the pediatric patients only.. I was the only doctor with a team of supporting & dedicated health assistants, working together under the direction of GOD in this temporary home for care of the sick. Gradually we earned the blessings from a lot of people for our perfect combination of 24-hours sincere and dedicated service to the patients.

My parents taught me the values and ethics to pursue in my life. My teacher Professor Shanti Indra, HOD of Pediatrics, R G Kar Medical College & Hospitals, Calcutta, taught me the art of working hard with utmost discipline, devotion and empathy.

I had the fortune to be associated with Saint Mother Teresa in the year 1982 and I got the opportunity to take care of the kids in her home in Calcutta for some time during that period.

My wife Piyali and my daughters Pamela & Poulomi encouraged me with their innovative ideas and direct participation in the process of developing this small health care establishment from childhood to adolescence.

Now it is a 20 bed hospital with well equipped "OPERATION THEATER", proper post-operative care facilities, AC cabin, Non AC cabin, General beds and separate wards for male & female patients.

Eminent Surgeon Dr Malay Kumar Barman, MBBS(Hons.) Gold Medalist, MS(Cal), Associate Professor of Surgery, North Bengal Medical College, has joined hands with us to take care of the surgical service.

We have Ultrasonography(USG) clinic with up-to-date latest generation Colour-Doppler USG Machine. We are happy to get the service of the renowned sonologists like Dr N Chakraborty and Dr T K Bhattacharjee.

We have also one pathology unit equipped with Robonic Auto-Analyzer. We have our own pharmacy.
